We seek to inspire through our catalogs and website, by presenting artwork in new and different ways that will capture the imagination. But even more importantly, we select artwork to present that is beautiful, well-crafted, and yes, inspirational.

It is my theory that we all need a daily dose of inspiration as we move through our lives.

I am happy to announce that The Guild is hosting a competition based on the theme of inspiration. The Art of Inspiration Print Competition seeks two-dimensional art (which includes everything from paintings and photographs to art quilts and tapestries) that has the power to communicate and transport. We are accepting online entries through March 31.

Well-known curator David A. Ross, Chairman of the Artist Pension Trust Curatorial Committee and the former director of the Whitney Museum of American Art, will select ten finalists from the submissions. In May, we will put these finalists on our website and invite customers and visitors to vote for the Grand Prize Winner and Honorable Mentions. A signed and numbered giclee print edition will be made from the winning entry.
