edible art

Art is something typically appreciated by one or two of the senses, most often sight or touch. What about pieces of art that you can enjoy visually, aromatically, AND by taste? Chocolates by DB Infusion are rare jewels created by true artists that are almost too beautiful to eat.

16-Piece Box by DB Infusion Chocolates

Each exquisite chocolate is hand crafted by artisan chocolatiers using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients available. The resulting melange of flavor, aroma, and texture provides a taste experience matched only by the stunning color and shape of each chocolate creation.

DB Infusion blends contemporary and classic by combining modern (and sometimes unexpected) ingredients using old world techniques. With the finest chocolate from Belgium, Switzerland, and Spain coming together with delectable flavors, you might experience tastes of jasmine, passion fruit, espresso, honey lavender, Tahitian vanilla, curry, ginger, praline, hazelnut, lemongrass, mango, and many more.

Whether sweet, savory, tangy, spicy, or a combination of flavors, you won’t regret a single bite. I had the opportunity to try a box of these treasures over the holidays due to some very generous and wonderful friends, and I’d love to share some of my favorites.

The Cashew Caramel was an absolute treat. Anything with sea salt and caramel is typically a winner for me, but the excellence of the ingredients really made this chocolate shine. My husband really enjoyed the Caribbean Fire -- chocolate combined with ancho and chipotle peppers, nutmeg, allspice, and jerk seasoning. I was selective in the ones I shared with him, but I knew this would be right up his alley.Another favorite of mine was the Framboise. The raspberry notes, Framboise liqueur, and dark chocolate were so decadent and delicious.

It’s truly rare that you can find something that is as pleasing to the palate as it is to the eye, but these creations really hit that mark. Which flavor would you be the most excited to try?
